John Guest 1/2″ NPT x 3/8″ Tube Push-Fit Adapter
A John Guest push-to-connect fitting with 1/2″ male NPT threads on one end and a 3/8″ tube push-fit on the other, no ferrules or compression nuts, the tube grips and seals itself once it’s pushed in fully.

INSTALLATION
An easy DIY job, no tools needed for the tube side, just a wrench for the NPT threads.
PRO TIPS
- Cut the tube end square and deburr it before inserting, an angled or burred cut is the most common reason a push-fit connection weeps at the collet.
- Push the tube all the way to the internal stop, not just until it feels snug, a tube that’s gripped but not fully seated can pull loose under pressure even though it looked secure going in.
- Keep this fitting away from cellulose paints, paint thinners, solder flux, and acid-based descalers or aggressive cleaners, they can attack the fitting’s seals over time.
