Thermal Relief Valve
This valve protects pumps from premature failure of seals, packing and cups by eliminating heat build up in closed loop by-pass systems. Valve opens when temperatures exceed 145 degF. It can be mounted in pump manifold, inlet water supply or bypass loop plumbing. Location of the valve may alter the cycling pattern of the PTP, but will not diminish its operation
