neoFlo Stainless Steel Flow Restrictors help conserve water, reduce energy consumption, and improve system efficiency by maintaining a consistent flow rate. By regulating flow to the system’s intended operating capacity, a flow restrictor helps ensure reliable performance and optimal treatment results.

Why Use a Flow Restrictor?
Water treatment equipment is engineered to perform at a designated flow rate. Whether you’re using a carbon filtration system, UV disinfection unit, or water softener, maintaining the proper flow rate is critical to achieving effective contaminant reduction. Adequate contact time between water and treatment media allows the system to operate as designed and deliver optimal water quality.
How the neoFlo Flow Restrictor Works
The neoFlo Flow Restrictor automatically regulates flow across a broad range of inlet pressure conditions. Designed to deliver a consistent flow rate despite pressure fluctuations, it enhances system performance while helping reduce unnecessary water and energy usage.
When pressure is absent, the internal O-ring remains in a relaxed position. As pressure increases, the O-ring compresses into the seating area to regulate flow. If pressure decreases, the O-ring expands accordingly. This dynamic adjustment mechanism enables the restrictor to maintain a stable flow rate under varying operating conditions.
