Safety high-limit thermostat that cuts power to the heating element if boiler temperature exceeds 135C, protecting against runaway heating from a failed primary control.

INSTALLATION
Should be installed by a qualified technician since it’s a critical safety device wired into the heating circuit.
PRO TIPS
- Always apply thermal grease to the sensing head before mounting, without it, microscopic air gaps between the thermostat and boiler surface delay heat transfer, which can cause the thermostat to trip late or inconsistently. It’s a heat-transfer aid only, not an adhesive, so don’t rely on it to hold the bracket in place.
- This synthetic grease resists hardening and won’t dry out or melt under normal boiler temperatures, so a single application should last the life of the thermostat.
